This is one of the most stylish compact laptop backpacks I've come across. I am very careful with my everyday bags as I work in a corporate environment. I don't usually like messenger bags as they are a bit more difficult for me to carry and I tend to use a backpack. Sometimes they seem too casual or too technical when looking for the right backpack. This style seems to combine both styles. As for laptop functionality, my 15 inch MacBook Pro fits perfectly in its compartment and also has room for my iPad. It offers ample space for important documents, portable drives, power adapters, keys and cables, and plenty of room for other essentials. It's very small so more of what you need during the day rather than just tossing everything in your bag just in case. It's fairly thin, so porting a desktop drive to anything else can be a hassle. It is ideal for office work. The only thing to complain about is the lack of quick access pockets. There is a pocket on the back, but you have to take off your backpack to get to it. There is a small pocket on the strap, big enough for keys but not big enough for my wallet and train card. If it had a quick access pocket big enough for my wallet and train card, that would be perfect. But otherwise it's a great bag for everyday use.
