The quality of the key ring was generally good , but I didn't bother adjusting the split ring. They used a small split ring connected to a large key ring that did not fit through the hole in the key fob. I got rid of both and found a sturdy, thin key ring that fit the hole and worked fine. This may not be a problem for you, but I prefer things not to be on the keychain, otherwise they will come loose and you will lose them.
