Revain sent me a replacement and took care of my first purchase and this morning less than 2 months later the second one also died completely. Do not purchase this item if you want to keep your battery charged. I am currently using the original adapter that came with my laptop after waking up with a dead laptop battery after not charging all night and my original broke so I am using a barely working adapter after trying to buy this twice. Do not do that! I've only had this new charging cable for a few weeks, maybe less if I remember correctly, and it's dead as a doornail. It worked when I first got it and then my laptop turned off in front of me and I realized it wasn't charging. A friend checked the cable/charger and it is dead, no power - I would not recommend this item. I'm currently on the phone with Revain to see if they can replace it without return as I'm quarantined indoors for 5 1/2 months for health reasons so getting an item that has one doesn't make me happy Return required - but the worst. For what I paid I could go for a well known brand name for a drop more money and probably wouldn't have this question on hand.
