I have several ratchet belts and love them all. This one is particularly good because the belt itself isn't too wide to fit comfortably in my belt loops. Many ratchet straps are too wide. Looking at it, it's hard to tell that this isn't an ordinary formal belt. The main difference between ratchet straps is the mechanism by which they are released. It's usually the button at the bottom. Here you pull out the belt buckle yourself. This is the simplest mechanism I've used. At the same time, it is a mechanism that probably works randomly. In particular, if your belt is misaligned and you grab it and try to center it, you could accidentally loosen the mechanism. I would say that this is not my preferred type of mechanism. But that's okay too. Overall a great belt. If I lose, I'll buy another one from the same seller.
