This sleeve corresponds approximately to the description. It's tough work and my S2 feels like it could handle the toughest conditions. However, I ended up removing it from my Tab S2 because the case is incredibly heavy. It's heavy enough to make it uncomfortable to hold with one hand, enough weight to leave impressions in my fingers. I mean, Samsung reduced the battery size with the S2 to try and keep the weight down, and then they put a super-heavy case on top. I can't see the weight of the case as a disadvantage as the goal was to provide the best possible protection and not to make the case thin and light. Besides that, I don't live in a harsh environment. I use my S2 on the couch or in the kitchen to watch cooking videos, not in the desert or jungle. So personally I wouldn't use this case unless I'm planning on traveling with my S2 where it might need some protection in my backpack. The screen protector didn't convince me either. On the one hand, it was nice to have a sealed environment, but it was striped and detracted from the quality of a premium device. I eventually removed it based on some of the Amazon reviews I read. Removal was a problem as the adhesive was very difficult to remove. In some places the glue came off right away, but in many places it just stuck together and didn't move. I tried alcohol but that didn't seem to help. I didn't want to use anything stronger because I didn't want to risk damaging the case. It would be nice if they sold a version of this case without a screen protector.

Pros
  • Useful for more than its intended purpose
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled
