things to consider.

Depending on the cable size and cross section, it can be difficult to route electrical cables through long cable ducts. (But there are tricks for that.) The other thing is trying to get the plumbing DIRECTLY where it's visible, and that's important. (The tubing is shipped coiled, and if the electrical wire has not been straightened and fully straightened inside, this tends to show in the finished conduit run.) The fittings provided work, but they don't "grip" the end of the conduit with much holding power, and you cannot rely on them not to pull the cable duct out (so carefully trim the length of the cable duct to match the length of the liner). Per!). If these fittings will be fully exposed to the elements (e.g. moisture), I would recommend applying some type of external sealant to the pipe and fitting joint after installation is complete.

Pros
  • Cable ducts
Cons
  • Very expensive
