Suitable for line to surface wiring

BENEFITS: Relatively inexpensive waterproof flexible conduit for routing electrical wiring from an outlet to a surface mounted panel. Easy to cut and assemble. Suitable for direct instillation. CONS: Rigid and somewhat inflexible for short runs, but much easier to use than rigid tubing.

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • So-so

( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) in Conduits

Tube Connection tubes to tube max joints are a big plus. Easy to cut. Almost as easy as cutting wood with a butter knife. (Get heavy duty scissors or I used a PVC cutter for a clean cut). It did the job I needed and made me the master of the universe for my kids once I had it ready for our Christmas lights. My home is Castle Grayskull now.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Interchange Availability

Flexible and easy to pull wires.

It's flexible enough and big enough to easily run three to four 14 AWG and 12 AWG THHN wires. A clamp that tightens to hold the pipe in place but works well, the pipe is as good as a known brand.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Modern

Connectors don't work well

The hose is pretty standard and can be found at any hardware store but the connectors/connectors suck. Very cheap and difficult to use. The ones you buy at Home Depot or Lowes are much better. I managed to use a few of these but ended up going to Lowes for a few good ones to finish the job. I recommend buying this locally and getting what you want.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Pretty much everything is fine

Fittings don't work properly

Plumbing is pretty standard stuff you can find at any hardware store but fittings/connectors are real crap. Very cheap and difficult to use. The ones you buy at Home Depot or Lowes are much better. I managed to use a few of these but ended up going to Lowes for a few good ones to finish the job. I recommend buying this locally and getting what you want.

Pros
  • Tools & Household Goods
Cons
  • Piggyback Price

This is probably an oversight on my part but when I bought this kit I thought the fittings (straight and 90 degree) were the same as those you can buy separately. However, both types of faucets are not the same (even those you can buy separately). The ones supplied with the kit require the flexible hose to be screwed into the fitting; is not pressed in and then tightened with a plastic "dome sealing nut". I would recommend buying the pipe and fittings separately. I thought I saved money when I…

things to consider.

Depending on the cable size and cross section, it can be difficult to route electrical cables through long cable ducts. (But there are tricks for that.) The other thing is trying to get the plumbing DIRECTLY where it's visible, and that's important. (The tubing is shipped coiled, and if the electrical wire has not been straightened and fully straightened inside, this tends to show in the finished conduit run.) The fittings provided work, but they don't "grip" the end of the conduit with much…
