Perfect Set - Intermediate Level

This set is amazing. This was my first miniature project and it's been a hobby I've wanted to do for as long as I can remember. I can't remember the last time I was so motivated to accomplish something just because it makes me happy. The instructions were easy enough to follow, but with little to no experience with paper, I needed the help of my VERY EXPERIENCED girlfriends for some of them. Flowers and other paper crafts. The large pieces of wood used in construction were slightly warped making final assembly tricky, but I managed! It would be a million times easier with clamps, so maybe get some before you start. I bought a small Gundam/miniature tool set, some clear tacky glue, and a bottle of Gorilla wood glue to complete this project. It comes with glue and a pair of tweezers, but I found it really helpful to have heavier tweezers, pliers and wire cutters for any wire work. You could complete the project with no additional items, but I spent less than $20 to make the project much easier and much closer to the pictures. a craft store and they were lucky they had a piece of loose scrapbook paper that looked like tiny bricks! After all, it's a great distraction from anything you don't want to think about. It's been a very soft spot for my brain on good days and bad! Also, that stuff takes forever. I watched Downton Abbey, a full season of Mrs. Maisel, and many Disney movies and episodes of The Good Place while I was at work. All in all it was the funnest thing I've ever done. . Sometimes I work on it more than ten hours a day. It's hard to let go of what makes you feel so successful :)
