As mentioned in another review, if you're looking for a very cheap way to record spoken poetry or dialogue onto a blank tape, and if you need some things on the go, this device may suit you, this recorder has a nice portable design and is ideal for your travels. That being said, an Onn cassette player can be nothing more than a piece of plastic trash. The thing is not suitable for listening to music. Period. Don't expect much from a flimsy built-in lo-fi speaker, but even with headphones the sound quality is terrible, it sounds like the audio of every cassette you play is being chewed, choked, and vomits furiously into your ear canals and any other unfortunate soul unfortunate enough to be within earshot.
