Looks good but doesn't spin well

Bought this as a gift for my son for his spray booth. It has become too hard from constant use and paint. When I opened it up and tried it, it wouldn't spin freely like a regular lazy susan would unless you put a lot of weight on it. I took it apart to check the lubrication and saw what was causing it to spin slowly. The cheap plastic ring holding Lazy Susan had four ball bearings. The bearings were lubricated, but the plastic they were set in was too tight and I was afraid if I cut it the bearings wouldn't stay. I tried it with a small TV and it worked fine. So if you're buying it for a larger device, you shouldn't have any problems. If you buy it to spray paint on your models, it doesn't have enough weight to turn effortlessly.
