These straps are excellent for securing motorcycles, which is their advertised purpose. They are very heavy. About as heavy as the straps I use when loading trailers. My 2 criticisms are the seemingly high price. If these straps last as long as 2 or 3 straps at a lower price I would say the high cost is justified. And the lack of hooks means they lack versatility. For such an expensive product I would have liked more versatility. Weather or not I would recommend them to a friend, it really depends what they are for. If you move motorcycles frequently, this is the best you can get. If you want them to bundle different loads, this isn't what you need.
