I was concerned about liability after some reviews but no problem. We live in a stuffy place (Texas), my walls are textured and the paint is about 1.5 years old. I installed ours about a month ago and it's still completely taped to the wall. I've done a bit of the blow dry trick that others have mentioned, but mostly I just rub really hard. As others have noted, it's shorter than I wanted (our little one sleeps in a hammock and I wanted a tree a certain height to frame it), but I should have bought two and used the trunk of the second one to make this Fullness of the tree hit the wall higher. By adding a second trunk to the bottom of the tree and turning it upside down, it fits perfectly with the original trunk and looks very natural. A little trick I came up with to install. Don't worry about sticking to the wall. I just crossed out the parts in the picture when I installed them. I cut each piece (with backing) one at a time as I went along and especially on the hardest/most delicate spots with lots of knots I left the backing on the tips of the branches while I glued the first piece to the wall so I did not You do not have to deal with thin branches that split during installation. Worked great. All in all it was a much easier and more durable project than I thought it would be.
