Porch Lights

I chose this lamp to replace an old porch lamp that is in my RV. I have experience with Progressive Dynamics and Bargman lamps. PD is a more attractive item, but their switches aren't as good. Bargman uses low-quality plastic, but it's surprisingly strong despite appearing fragile. You don't have a lot of cords to work with this light, so hopefully your power cords are a decent length. As a side note, there are absolutely no long wires on the back of this flashlight; it is flat. There's also no insulating layer between the back of the light and your wall - be sure to seal it with caulk or use plumbing (if you choose the latter, make sure your wiring is in place to avoid removing it again!) . from the elements. Most would just use caulk, but I find caulk lasts longer and provides a good, solid base. The cover pulls off easily, but be careful as the tabs on the side don't feel very strong.

Pros
  • Test for one year
Cons
  • Definitely bad product
