Replaced an old device that had melted down.

Replaced an old light fixture that melted due to a bulb being too hot. It was an exact replacement and with LED I don't think the problem will happen again.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Poor manual

Good for the money no LED

I bought this to replace my camper van. It has a regular lightbulb which I replaced with an LED. I didn't know there was an LED version of this light or I would have bought it instead.

Pros
  • Handsfree
Cons
  • Clarity

Excellent light output and electrics

This is not the type of lighting we wanted for our camper but nothing else was available. I gave it a 5 star rating because it's a really great light and whether it fits the specific style we were looking for shouldn't affect the rating.

Pros
  • Pleasing
Cons
  • Replacement availability

Not what it was. Best in Power and Electronics

Just replaced a #78 Bargman on my Country Coach. They are approximately 1/2 inch shorter in width than the original. Of course, the original paint was now on display with one noticeable difference. The back panel is cheap aluminum compared to the galvanized original. I doubt they will last that long. They work.

Pros
  • Nice Packaging
Cons
  • Fine

This is identical to the original light on my Winnebago View. Someone installed an overpowered bulb in the original and welded the cartridge and case together. I installed this and a Goldstars LED bulb 11568305 and love them. Just make sure and seal it properly with mastic caulk underneath so you don't have leaks in your RV wall.

Pros
  • Permanent test results
Cons
  • Hard to tell

Good replacement part

Bought to replace an identical lantern on my RV porch. The interesting thing is that the lens caps are identical and interchangeable, but the base (which I really needed) is a bit smaller and the holes are in different places. Not a big deal but just a warning if you are also buying this to replace one of the 20 year old campers the base may be a quarter inch smaller and you will need to drill new holes to install it. All in all a good replacement. It covers practically the same area as the old

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Only available in white

Porch Lights

I chose this lamp to replace an old porch lamp that is in my RV. I have experience with Progressive Dynamics and Bargman lamps. PD is a more attractive item, but their switches aren't as good. Bargman uses low-quality plastic, but it's surprisingly strong despite appearing fragile. You don't have a lot of cords to work with this light, so hopefully your power cords are a decent length. As a side note, there are absolutely no long wires on the back of this flashlight; it is flat. There's also no

Pros
  • Test for one year
Cons
  • Definitely bad product

Maybe the perfect outdoor light.

Install this lantern with the included bulb. Then replace the original bulb with the Gold Stars Replacement LED Bar 11568305. You'll be amazed at the difference in light output! Yes, a Gold Stars panel costs more than a light. Rzhunimagu! However, if you plan on leaving that light on all night, LED is your only option. (Thank you later!) The Gold Stars lamp is much brighter and can be pointed down to match the angle of the lens. If you just want a dim outside light, the original 1003 bulb will…

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Expensive
