Maybe the perfect outdoor light.

Install this lantern with the included bulb. Then replace the original bulb with the Gold Stars Replacement LED Bar 11568305. You'll be amazed at the difference in light output! Yes, a Gold Stars panel costs more than a light. Rzhunimagu! However, if you plan on leaving that light on all night, LED is your only option. (Thank you later!) The Gold Stars lamp is much brighter and can be pointed down to match the angle of the lens. If you just want a dim outside light, the original 1003 bulb will do. You won't find anything like this on an aircraft carrier, but they're great for your RV. I had to replace the outside light because the lens melted. I admit. I used a 1156 bulb instead of the original 1003. A melted lens will never be a problem for an LED panel. The current draw for a Goldstars device at 12.8 volts is approximately 0.184 amps. Current draw with the included 12.8V 1003 bulb is approximately 1 amp. A NOTICE. Control diodes are built into the Gold Stars 11568305 lamps. The polarity of the voltage does not matter. It doesn't matter how your device is connected. These panels "find" the correct polarity automatically. You cannot damage these panels. Sorry, that sounds like a panel review, not a fixed point! But these two things work great together. When installing, do not forget to seal the lantern housing! If not properly sealed, you could end up with a "rusty bucket" in no time! Leave about 1/4 inch unsealed area on the bottom for the drip hole. JUST ADDED: AC DC 12V 10A Auto On Off Photocell Light Switch for Outdoor Light. Works like a champ! NOW THIS IS A PERFECT "cheap" outdoor RV light! /ref=cm_cr_pr_product_topEDIT: 07/19/16 Goldstar LEDs started having problems outside, they go out like crazy! All the indoor units are still working fine, but for the outdoor area there maybe a better LED.
