I use this blade to trim my dog's hair. Furzone is my favorite brand for blades and a ceramic blade will stay very sharp a long time if used on CLEAN DRY hair.

Pros

Ceramic materials reduce heat transfer. Choose Ceramic Blades for cooler and more comfortable cutting.

Cons

While the ceramic material is high-tech and durable, it may be prone to chipping or breaking if accidentally dropped or mishandled, potentially leading to costly replacements down the line.
