Review on 📸 Canon Black Samyang SY24M-C 24mm f/1.4 Wide Angle Lens by Adrian Allen

I am only writing this as a warning to others who have not studied Samyang/Rokinon/Bower quality control. This lens can be great, especially for astrophotography. However, you should definitely test the lens upon receipt. My copy was poorly assembled. This makes it decentered. This results in uneven distortion and softness on the right, while the rest of the image is sharp across the flat plane. Be sure to check when you receive a copy or your images may be damaged by the time it's too late.**** I immediately ordered another copy of this lens after realizing the first one was defective. The second copy of the lens is very good. Sharp wide aperture with f/2.5+ vignetting in the corners at 1.4 (as to be expected), vignetting is almost completely gone at 2.8, the lens is very sharp even at extreme angles at 5.6.
