I don't understand why I waited so long to try any of these; I use it on the couch every day and sometimes take it to my bed when I can't sleep. Laying your tablet down on a soft surface can be challenging; The device always slips and if you dare to shift your body weight you risk a complete fall. Metal/plastic tables are similarly prone to this turbulence. But this cushion stand works great, giving a great viewing angle when you're lying down and sitting comfortably on your lap when you're seated (and blocking others out nicely too so they don't see you're not actually seeing the Fast 9000 along with them). ..or that you really play the game and don't do important business). I had read other reviews before buying so I knew I had to toss it in the dryer for 10 minutes as soon as it arrived and it worked like a charm (to fluff the pillow and make the cover tighter). 5/5 thanks!
