There is, of course, a greater variety of options available today than there was perhaps six to seven years ago, which is roughly when they purchased this keyboard. Long-term: worked in an office for three years, spent one year at home, and accomplished two goals away from the office. and continues to function! I have already replaced the batteries twice. Other drawbacks include the fact that it is very cumbersome to carry around all the time, although the fact that it can accommodate both a tablet and a phone makes the weight acceptable. They had gotten used to there not being a separate digital block for a very long time, but as the saying goes, "the eyes saw what they chose."
