In short I had the worst washing machine in the world and replaced it with an old fashioned workhorse that does laundry like there's no tomorrow but unfortunately it's known for small items to suck straight down the drain. I have a few lingerie bags but I really need MORE for my husband's socks (how many pairs of socks does a man need) and other small things like my underwear which isn't as small as it used to be but it is a sad story for another day. I haven't had these bags long enough to comment on how durable they are, but they have at least one design feature that I love, which is a little elastic loop to tuck the zipper nice and flat. This prevents the zipper from opening and ejecting the contents or damaging other fragile items in the luggage. Love it. The zips are plastic but not flimsy, seem reasonably strong and tucked back in as if the zip is hidden should last a long time. I'll be back to let you know if they don't, but these bags look like they'll be around for a long time. Thank you!
