Review on 🪑 Enhance Your Workspace with the Amazon Basics Mesh Mid-Back Office Chair in Black by Erin Walker

I bought one of these chairs in August 2017 and it was fantastic but the seat is a bit worn so I just ordered a new one (Sep 2019). I was so disappointed putting it all together - it looks the same but it's a cheap version that's literally too uncomfortable to sit in. The metal frames that support the back are shorter, now the back has to be screwed on. on (old version is always connected); the edge around the back has been removed (it is sharp); mesh size is coarser; and the wheels do not fit flush with the base causing wobble (see photo). I had already packed everything to go back except the adjustable shaft is now in the base and seat - I had to ask a favor that a second person come tomorrow and help me take it apart. This is so disappointing on every possible level and I will definitely think twice before buying another piece of furniture from Revain Basics.
