Review on Original Universal Insignia Women's Athletic Shoes by Teva by Joaquin Bennett

I usually love Teva sandals. As you can tell from my title, I'm surprised to be writing an essentially negative review of the original all-around sandal. I bought this 25 weeks pregnant in anticipation of the hot, busy summer months so keep that in mind as you consider this review. However, I had the same issue as several other reviews: uncomfortable pulling around the outside edge of the foot, a baby sock audible where the strap goes through the foot closer to the toes. I have not noticed any problem with short wearing at all. In fact, the shoes seem incredibly comfortable. It was only after an hour or more of walking and standing in the Original Universal Sandals that I had problems: 1) The support was less than other sandals and I need orthopedic support in a sandal that I intend to wear for a long time - running errands, at day trips with family etc.; and 2) abrasion. The print is nice and accurate. I bought a pair of Miramar Coral and Sun/Moon Insignia Blue. The original all-purpose sandals fit, but I'm disappointed.
