I used this with my working 16" Macbook Pro connected to a 100w charger. The system report says it's getting 85 watts. Tested with my X1 Nano, Lenovo Vantage also reported 85W. This makes sense as it could be a more active dock and draw more power, but when you're thinking of getting all 100 watts for your Macbook Pro, it's not. The only other thing I can think of to do that 100w push is Dell's proprietary 130w for their XPS, but this thing basically doesn't work properly with anything other than Dell, and I don't have that type of charger to go with Testing. Note HDMI is 4k60hz and drove my ThinkVision P27u-10 with no issues. It's essentially a very large USB-C dongle. You can stand it up horizontally, but the legs you get to mount the dock vertically are very sturdy.
