I've been using Zip Wax for about 40 years. Always good for removing hair above the upper lip. However, the wax I recently ordered has changed. Yes, it's softer as others have said; But it's not a problem. My skin became very red and irritated, almost like a sun or chemical burn. This happened three times in a row. Every time I tried to change another factor, I thought that one of them might cause a reaction. 1. I've tried changing the container I'm using and putting fresh wax in it. 2. Make sure the wax is cold. 3. Do not go out in the sun for 24 hours. None of these changes mattered. I can only conclude that I may be allergic to something added to the 'new' formula and will not be purchasing this product again.
