I am very pleased that this product is available. I used it many years ago and I used it after not using it for 25 years. It was like riding a bike, the wax melted smoothly! And hair removal is as easy as it was years ago! By the way, I don't use a car, I use a steamer! Yes, old pot!

I've been using Zip Wax for 35 years and it works! I've used other products briefly but none worked as thoroughly in one application and all of the others caused a rash of sorts that lasted for several days. I use a special porcelain bowl with a handle, heat it up in a small pot of simmering water, apply wax, take it off and put it back in the reheating/reuse bowl. A pack of zipper wax will last me for years!

I've been using this wax for about 5 years now. I use Gigi Warmer after seeing it at the salon I go to. I also place a round can of Altoids in the heater and put a few blocks of wax inside (don't put the lid on the can). I honestly hated this product it was so difficult to use. It breaks so easily on the skin. I have been working with Brazilian wax for a long time and decided to give this one a try. It's expensive and I'm very upset. not worthy at all

I guess the contents of this wax have changed over the years. I remember using it in the 70's and 80's and it worked really well. I tried again after getting tired of going to others for depilation and the wax is terrible. It sticks to the skin but you can't pull the hair out. It gets under nails everywhere, on sinks in solid chunks, and still doesn't stretch well. Then you need to brush off the remaining wax - think Silkwood Shower - to remove any remaining bits. Be careful, follow the instructions. I've been using Zip Wax since 1985. I learned how to use it, how to take temperature and when to apply the melted wax to my skin. Test it first to make sure it's not TOO hot, the wax goes straight to the skin. If the wax is too hot to apply, it may peel off the skin. UPDATE: I have four pimples on my upper lip. A place where my skin is always clean. These spots healed slowly. This new "improved" product contains different ingredients than the original formula. I tried to find the ZIP website. Bad luck. 100% removes fine and coarse hair from the upper lip. Including wooden applicator.
