My Dental Hygienist recommended that I switch to a Sunstar 524P GUM Technique Deep Clean Toothbrush, with a full head and soft bristles to reverse some gum damage I had caused combing technique. With the help of these wonderful brushes I was able to achieve a much better result and have been using them constantly ever since. The full head size is larger than the compact size of many other brushes, giving you a wider brushing area, and the soft bristles are perfect for those who sometimes brush a little too hard. The handle is thicker than most other brushes and provides a good grip while brushing. I couldn't find them in any local stores so I always buy them online from Revain now and a pack of 12 brushes lasts three years which is such a good price. Great brushes at a great price. I expect the Gum Technique compact head will work just as well, but personally I prefer the full size head. One day I accidentally ordered the compact size and there is a big difference, so check carefully when you order.
