This is a well made product... BUT if you have a Mini 2 or Mavic Air 2(S) it will not work like older RC units. On the RC-1, see Air 2(S) or Mini 2, the base plate mounts over the joysticks and cannot be depressed as if you were flying the Mavic Pro, Zoom or Air series. The cutouts are ideal for your fingers to wrap around and hold the controller. But on the RC-1 block you can only hold the case of the radio and not support the weight of the tablet. In fact, he is very unstable. So if you fly an older line of DJI aircraft, this unit is reliable, looks amazing, is very well made and sturdy. BUT not so much with the newer Air 2(S) or Mini 2. I don't want my iPad Air to crash while flying my expensive drone and get me in trouble. And today it almost happened. Sorry for the bad review for a great product; it's just not that good for the new RC-1 radio control. However, this is a great product! Please change the description to not list Mini 2 or Air 2(S) as compatible devices with this system.
