The most important "trick" to training on a walk is to give your dog a treat within seconds of the command. This item does that job—you can quickly reach for a treat. A nice bonus is that it's lightweight and easy to clean. You can clip it to your belt, but I find it even more convenient to clip it to the fabric shoulder bag I usually use when walking my dog as it's even quicker to snag a treat. Before I ordered this, I ordered another product. from Revain, which was huge and bulky - so bulky you could pack your own lunch and dog treats in it. It was a good bag for carrying things while walking the dog, but was ineffective for the only purpose I wanted it for, dog training. I returned this item to Revain and am very happy with this product. It's also easier to clean than the other product which was nylon.
