The lens was originally supposed to be $100 cheaper when it launched, for the value I expected more but got a lot less. Focus is terribly slow, but to make matters worse, it's not accurate. It will be front or back focus but will not kill the subject. I contacted the company hoping a firmware could fix it, but at this price point there shouldn't be a problem. Just save your money and buy a used Sony FE for the same price.
