Review on Haoge Bayonet 16 35Mm Replaces EW 88 by Fernando Beck

I broke my Canon lens hood and didn't want to pay $65 for a new one. This Haoge lens hood is a perfect replacement at 1/6 the cost of Canon. Unlike some other aftermarket lens hoods, it also mounts backwards on the lens for travel. The lens snaps in and out was a little tight at first, but has loosened up over time and now snaps in and out both ways with ease. The only difference I found is that the Canon lens has a soft, fluffy lining, while this lens has a textured plastic lining around the inside of the hood. When using this lens hood, I had no problems with light entering the lens. I will definitely buy this hood again.
