SO unstable and difficult to assemble

I spent 2 hours assembling this and gave up at step 9 which renders them useless. The problem starts with the hammock, to tighten everything around you inevitably twists the hammock, making it unsuitable for cats. Boxes are very difficult to screw in or because they are difficult to access. I give my cats 48 hours to see if they like this partially assembled beast but I will most likely be returning it. It's especially annoying considering you have to pay for UPS shipping (I live in NYC without a car and can't get this item to the nearest Revain location in Newark), so I'm losing money even if I ship it back .
