One hand wash leaves an odor similar to Ax Body Spray. Tried washing the smell off with soap. Next comes dish soap. Finally, my favorite cleanser, borax powder, but no one could get that bad smell off my hands. Time itself was a great healer, and it took several hours, but eventually the order disappeared. I have a very strong aversion to stubborn nasty chemical smells so this was far worse than a deal breaker for me, it was a source of deep disappointment that such products existed. On the plus side, however, I did get a free dispenser bottle with a nice retro label. After a dozen aggressive rinses, I was able to refill it with the hand soap I like and while there's probably still a trace of the original product, it's imperceptible, now heavily diluted.
