Pros: The inserts are quite strong. They didn't surprise me, but I have no complaints. The screen holes are staggered which is great as the media cannot pass through all layers at once unlike other cheaper liners. That's why I bought this brand. You get a lot of liners at once, making them comparable per layer to cheaper liners you can buy in boxes of 10. Cons: They're not big enough for a high walled litter box. Not big enough. There is no way to protect them. If you buy the litter box they are made for, the liners fit perfectly. (I had this tray but returned it because I couldn't justify paying $60 for a box that looks like cardboard.) For other trays, however, don't use a rubber band or any other method to attach them attach to the edges.
