Completely solved my memory temperature issues on my Gigabyte OC RTX 3080. Reduced from 106-108°C at 100% fan speed and thermal derating to a stable 78-80°C at 65% fan speed. in the degradation of eth. Gigabyte and other manufacturers should have used these platforms in the first place. If you have the same card and want to fix high memory temperature issues, you need 2mm spacers between the memory chips and the heatsink. For even better results, you can add 3mm standoffs on the back of the board behind the memory chips to transfer extra heat to the back of the card. If you are not satisfied with the results of these thermal pads, you are using the wrong thickness. or their abuse. These pads really work.
