Review on 🍊 Homeleader Stainless Steel Electric Citrus Juicer - Powerful Motor, Two Cones, Ideal for Grapefruits, Oranges, and Lemons - Black by Maria Cochran

Faster, quieter and more efficient than the competition

I decided to keep this Homeleader [HL] juicer after reading the Cuisinart CCJ-500, the Proctor-Silex lemonade stand and the instruction manual tested and returned. Gourmia juicer. All of my testing was done with regular sized belly button oranges. HL is fast, quiet and efficient in extracting all the juice. The design is simple and intuitive, easy to use without making a mess. It's heavier and stronger than Proctor-Silex or Cuisinart, and has real feet to keep it from sliding across the countertop like lighter machines. The HL has an 85W motor compared to 30W on the Procter-Silex and Cuisinart, and it shows. With the HL, the cone rotates much faster, so my clock works about three times faster. Power is transmitted to the cone more evenly and quietly. The size and shape of the HL cone is perfect for the oranges I tested. (I only used the larger of the two included cones; other juicers only have one.) Not so with the cone on the Cuisinart, which required repeated agitation and compression to get all the juice-carrying parts of the orange in contact with the juice. a slow-spinning Cuisinart rotor with a strange shape. Because the HL cone is the right size and shape for this application, it not only expresses the orange juice very quickly, but also makes it easy to keep the zest pieces in the mix. The Proctor Silex cone is roughly the same size and shape as the HL. HL and Proctor-Silex control pulp with small pulp cleaners attached to the cone. Sweepers gently press the pulp pieces against a perforated basket that adjusts to the pulp preference. This system works fairly well and results in a relatively small amount of waste. Cuisinart, on the other hand, uses a two-pass system that is complex, time-consuming, and messy. The HL costs a few bucks more than the Proctor-Silex or Cuisinart, but the build quality is higher so you can expect it to last longer. All in all, HL was a clear choice over Proctor-Silex and Cuisinart. It was also an easy choice compared to the Gourmia manual citrus juicer, which had a low juice yield compared to any electric juicer.
