Review on ๐Ÿ’ฆ DEWENWILS Wireless Waterproof Extension with Smart Control by Kevin Woods

Great way to add occasional or seasonal lighting with remote control

I've used these lights on our seasonal (Halloween) inflatables and projectors and our streetlights. We're talking about these types of devices: you want a smart device or a standard remote control. There are pros and cons to both. Typically, a smart device is schedulable and works well if you always want to turn something on and off at predictable times. However, our outdoor use is unpredictable, which is why I think this remote control is the best choice. - In other words, I might not want to turn on the inflatables when it's windy or raining outside. I only want to turn on our outdoor lights when we are outside. Build quality: The build quality is good and corresponds to what other well-known brands offer: The remote control in particular is very well made. One remote control / 3 sockets / separate activation buttons I really like that I can activate up to 3 devices with one remote control. I also like the fact that there are on and off buttons rather than just a power button so I don't have to see the device to see if it's powered off. Switch off button directly on the socket. It's a gray triangular button. It's VERY handy to be able to turn on the device when you're nearby (we use this a lot for our outdoor fairy lights). Lanyard / Nail Attachment As you can see from Figure 2, there are several attachment and attachment options depending on your needs. Drain cap/rain cap: The drain has a drip edge and should remain dry when looking down. There is a protective cover that can be easily removed (and reattached) (pic 3). Remote Control Distance: We keep the remote control in the kitchen and can activate both outlets (about 30 feet) outside the home that connect to external GFCI outlets in opposite directions. The product page says they have a range of 100 feet, but that's probably unhindered. Final Thoughts: These remotes are great and I highly recommend them.
