Review on πŸ“ Bira Craft 12x12 inch Scoring Board & Score and Fold Tool: The Ultimate Multi-Purpose Crafting Companion by Angela Rodriguez

heavy paper or cardstock must be used

It took me several attempts to make the envelope. I've tried regular "thin" scrapbook paper and printing paper. Although I followed the instructions on the back, the paper was torn or misaligned. Finally, I made an A2 envelope out of 110-gauge cardstock, which I cut into an 8" x 8" square. The paper guide (looks like a triangle) should have a rib on the bottom that aligns with a 5 1/4" slot. It will fall into the slot. There should be a notch on the right side that points to aligned with the 11 5/8" slot. The rightmost point must form an angle with the angle. See 1st picture on the back of the package. So I aligned my 8" card stock so the left point is at the 3 1/2" mark on the triangle tool. It went past the corner in the top right corner. The cards go under a small raised one triangle and continue across the top of the scoreboard. You need to hold the card in place so it doesn't move when you draw a scoring line.(I suggest some washi tape to attach to the board to keep it from moving .) After you get the 1st point it will be easier, you will rotate the card 90 degrees to the right, you will align the first counting line to the bottom of the raised triangle. The cards are dealt under this small raised triangle and across the top of the scoring board. See the 3rd picture on the back of the package. Each time I rotated my card 90 degrees to the right, I used washi tape to secure it so it wouldn't move when I made the cut. After making all 4 counting lines, I cut the triangles where the 2 counting lines intersect. See 4th picture on the back of the package. Then I fold all the corners along the cutting lines to make an envelope. I used double-sided tape to attach. The cards must be flush with the tool side of the envelope or your score lines will be cut off. See the back of the packaging for more project ideas. I'm also looking forward to trying out these projects. The cards must be flush with the tool side of the envelope or your score lines will be cut off.
