Ideal for small businesses - precise and reliable. Great size for a budget. I use it to ship items from Ebay and I'm tired of dealing with over/under postage - it's an affordable, accurate and nifty pricing scale. I check the calibration often and nothing ever went wrong; Ideal for determining exact weight in ounces. Multiple modes allow you to display weight in pounds/ounces - Pounds only, ounces only or even grams - Displays weight information on a large blue LED display that is easy to read/see - Sturdy but lightweight and compact to to keep it on a desk corner. Take the guesswork out of weighing a package before shipping. There's nothing worse than your buyer having to pay for extra postage when it arrives due to incorrect weight information - as well as overpaying for postage - These scales offer accuracy. Scales are not that resilient. Great for (apparently) heavy shipments where every +/- pound is either wasted or saved - Sensitive to small items to get accurate ounce readings (especially if they're subject to top-notch USPS and their 13-ounce rule for packages or ship less) Long battery life - Large display - Accessible and accurate - COMPACT enough to leave on a desk or tuck in a desk drawer. I'm pretty blunt when it comes to writing a review - I was expecting cheap imports to last 30 days (maximum) - This proved me wrong - From tiny 2oz bags to huge boxes of heavy books - My shipping weight is now spot on and I am it happy. The only "con" I would like to mention is that the typical price fluctuations - go shopping - somehow spoil the mood when buying and then observe the significant price drop a week later. Regardless, I feel like I definitely got my money's worth and would recommend this to anyone who needs a postal scale at an affordable price. I didn't want to spend money on something I won't be using that often, but I wanted a decent device to have on hand when I need to weigh and it's great.
