I have an elderly 16 year old cat who is gradually losing her teeth. In the last 2 years she has had her teeth pulled several times to prevent infection and dental disease. During this time, she lost her taste for a variety of foods. She has given up dry food completely and now rejects the usual "canned food”. I used to use the canned pie formula, but lately it's even wrinkled my nose. When she started to lose weight I fell into desperation and out of a hunch - or should I say hope - I grabbed some of those beautiful batches of Sheba Pie and WOW, WOW, WOW! She ate 5 pieces in a row - to replenish the lost food! The texture is almost like a soufflé that she eats effortlessly. She especially loves "Tender Salmon" and now likes to say "Roast Chicken with Liver". I am relieved to see that her body weight has returned to normal and she is well hydrated. Happy senior cat. She usually eats 3 perfect serving cups a day, sometimes 4. Thank you Sheba!
