Not impressed with this slotter. I have a 13" WEN planer and am happy with it. So when I chose a slasher, I chose WEN. The accuracy is less than desired. The set screw holding the drill puts pressure on only one side of the drill and causes it to fall at a different angle than the drill. The gears that drive the crank/head don't appear to be precisely machined, causing the vertical movement of the machine to stall during operation. In addition, there is a large skewness in the connection of the fence with the base, because of which you have to constantly adjust and tighten the fence. Think twice before you buy another WEN product.
