Update: I wrote this original review right after I received these flashlights and put them in all the batteries. I was annoyed that they didn't all work, but that's even worse! It took me about 2 minutes to write this review and then I immediately got back to packing these flashlights. To my surprise, the flashlight I couldn't bring to work was HOT! The battery area outside got terribly hot within a few minutes. I immediately removed all the batteries from each and sent them back. It's a shame as we bought them for an upcoming trip looking for "Uperlites" and not all 5 are ready to use and we have 5 family members. To return. They're also pretty dark.
