Repaired a microcrack in the toilet cistern

I noticed a small puddle on the floor near the toilet so I removed the cistern and replaced the old gasket and dried rubber washers on two screws. I put it back together, filled and flushed the tank, but it's still leaking. I took it apart, looked closely and saw some very thin dark lines coming out of one of the bolt holes. The toilet is probably twenty years old and may have cracked due to vibration. I bought this stuff and wiped down the inside of the tank and then waited for the inside of the tank to dry. It has a piston with two tubes separating the two components. and a nice lid. I put on a pair of disposable gloves and applied a bead of glue to the bottom of the tank. I mixed the glue with my fingers and spread it over the bottom of the tank. I used almost all the glue. I let it dry overnight to make sure it sets. Then I put the tank back on, filled the tank and rinsed it. No leakage. Great product and it saved me from buying a new toilet.
