I heard a friend's story about a leak under the kitchen sink. It was water, dripping out of the pipe drop by drop. But it was a great loss. I figured that since my house is old, instead of keeping test tubes frequently, I might as well buy detectors to test them myself. So I spent some time back and forth, compared and settled on this product. Basically, the size is small and the price is reasonable. I received the package but only opened it 2 days ago. I put under the kitchen sink and vanity table. A few hours later I heard loud beeps coming from one of the bathrooms. I found that there is some water under vanity. Water flowed from a pipe bend.
