acme 211.5 is a great whistle. I've been using the same brand and style for over a decade and have not been disappointed. A whistle lasts about 5-7 years with daily use. Made of plastic, it is easy to clean and maintain. I put the dirty/boggy damage in the dishwasher to clean it with no performance issues. It has a nice deep tone/sound that won't leave you with migraines at the end of the day. Not only do I and my team members use this pipe, I recommend it to my clients. People who complain that it's not quiet and leave 1-star reviews would do well to pay attention to what they're actually buying.
