These fun dice look beautiful and unique. Both my 2 and 7 year old love them and I have no doubts about their quality. However, I can't help but feel that part of what you're paying for in these blocks is the packaging. The packaging looks like it's for show, it's really pretty, but I just threw it away because those blocks aren't actually worn in it at all. I bought these at the same time as Magna Tiles and I seem to prefer them because there's something more to do with them. these are smaller blocks. However, longer blocks are limited in what they can build or add to because, again, the magnets are only on the ends, so you can't stack mid-length blocks along the longer pieces. I would still recommend these blocks, but only on sale - even then they are quite expensive. I would add that they are exceptional on the plane, they can be carried around in a tegu felt bag that has room for this set plus over 30 sets of magna tiles.
