Strong connection......very hot

Appears to be a very strong connection. I used a 15 amp fuse for the RC car charger but it gets very hot. Not sure what I drew for the amps but it didn't blow the 15 amp fuse but still got hot where it went into the cigarette lighter socket on the end.
