bought this and have fun. This bodypack has incredible bandwidth. AM broadcasting, FM broadcasting. Shortwave bands (AM), CB band (27 MHz) (AM) and Amateur Radio bands (AM. Sorry, no SSB) Airplane band. It's a great time listening to towers and airplanes near airports. and of course WX radio. the receiver is fairly selective (strong transmitters bleed), sensitivity is good to good, and the antenna is annoying. Use the included clip on the cable for SW and AM but with a digital display! how cool and right! It's not a $200 scanner, but for the money it's really fun. The sound quality is not bad for a tiny speaker.
