Can't tell for sure about the battery life but it hasn't died since we started it a week ago. However, it only took 3 days for the dog to notice that we weren't playing anymore. She was starting to like the squirt gun. She barked when we said stop, which I personally found amusing. Then I found this bad boy; it works exactly as intended. I don't have any cons, but this is what I LOVE about this collar: - The alerts start out very quietly, an audible beep. After 2 days our dog figured it out. The vibrate is a gentle reminder of what's next if you don't stop pestering that damn squirrel - the "fix" makes sure I don't get any more quotes from town. That was enough for one day. Most of the time she stopped barking. She's not very smart, so we hear one or two and that's it. Barely enough to get an offer. This device has saved me AT LEAST $50 in estimates. THANK YOU SO MUCH!
