I had high hopes when I bought the phone holder with power supply. My car only has one charging socket so this is perfect for me to store my phone and charge multiple devices. I really wanted to like this product but the cons far outweigh the pros. Pros: 1. The part that holds the phone is adjustable so it even fits in an Otter Box case for my Galaxy Note. This is good for me.2. I like the adjustable grip so I can move my phone to where I want it without blocking my drink in another cup holder. Cons: 1. If you have a cup holder that adjusts to your cup, this device is NOT stable. Mine was hanging all over the place because it didn't fit properly. The only way to adjust to this is to wrap a small kitchen towel around the floor. Who would have thought that the idea of having a power cord that plugs into the base instead of a direct connection would be a good idea? While the charger fits snugly into my car's charging port, the power connector to the base keeps popping out. First off, this is a loose connector (won't snap etc) so I found my phone wasn't really charging most of the time. The location of this fork is also impractical. It sits between the main charging slots, so when they're full it's difficult to reconnect power to the base (forget it if you're driving).3. When I try to charge my phone via USB, I get an error saying it's not getting enough power to charge my phone. My husband had the same with his. We've never had this problem with other USB chargers. Since I'm on the road a lot, the disadvantages become more important to me. I'm not returning it because it would be too cumbersome, but if you're considering buying one, you might want to reconsider your decision based on your needs.
