Great little shelf, the best of floating shelves
This product makes a great pair of kitchen or bathroom shelves. Installation was relatively easy, although I didn't need the cavity wall anchors that came with the kit (remember to use a rubber mallet to drive the anchors into the wall, the hammer might just break them). Instead I used some stronger hollow wall anchors. I like that it comes with a small spirit level. This made it easy to ensure your drilled holes were even. What I didn't like was that the edges of the shelves weren't painted, just finished with natural wood. This was easy with the brown marker I had laying around. It matched the spot on the shelf exactly. Just try the sugar cake on the back of the shelf first to see how it looks.
